Refunds and Returns



Our policy is that we want you to be happy with anything you buy from Murphy McGonigal's. If you're not happy, we're not happy!

We have a 1 YEAR return, refund and exchange policy.

We really prefer happy customers!

PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE YOU RETURN ANY ITEM so we can provide you proper instructions and the correct shipping address for your particular situation.

To complete your return, we need your name, email and order number.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
- Music media (CD's, DVD's, Vinyl's, etc) must be un-opened.
- Books cannot show obvious signs of use.
- We cannot accept an item that is soiled, damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.


The following items are non-returnable:
- Perishable goods (food, flowers, etc.)
- Newspapers or magazines
- Intimate apparel or other intimate products
- Gift cards
- Downloadable software products
- Some health and personal care items


We offer a full refund for returned items meeting the conditions in this document.  At our option, we may also simply issue you a refund and instruct you to keep or dispose of the item.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment.  If not approved, you can let us know if you want the item returned to you.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):
For some reason, payment processors (credit cards, PayPal, etc.) will quickly take your money when you buy something, but they are often slow in returning it! --- We don't like it either, but it is what it is!
If you haven’t received your refund in a reasonable amount of time (about 14 days) then please contact your credit card company first; it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Most credit card companies allow you to view your transactions online now. Or call the phone number on the back of your card.
For PayPal, sign into your account online and check for the refund. Depending on your settings, PayPal may or may not have pushed the refund to your associated bank account, and you should be able to see that on PayPal's website. Their contact information is on their website.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund, please contact us. It IS possible that we made a mistake..... we did that once before! :-)

We may occasionally offer an item on an "All Sales Final - No Refunds" basis. However, if the item arrives defective or damaged, please contact us for an exchange. We want you to be happy!


Simple policy --- If you need to exchange an item because it is defective or arrived damaged, we will pay for return shipping. If you are exchanging it for any other reason (size, color, etc.), then you must pay to ship it back to us. That's only fair, right?
BUT, BEFORE YOU RETURN ANY ITEM, please contact us and we will provide you exchange instructions.
You are responsible for properly packaging the item so it is not damaged in return shipment.

As we are always searching the world for unique items, we sometimes only have limited quantities of some items. If we no longer have any stock of the item you wish to exchange for, then we will either allow you to exchange for a different item (and charge or credit any price difference), or we will issue you a refund ..... whatever will make you happy!


If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, the gift recipient, not the purchaser, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver.


Please contact us and we will let you know which of our facilities to ship your return.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND YOUR PRODUCT BACK TO THE ADDRESS ON THE SHIPPING LABEL, unless we specifically tell you to. You'll really confuse the whole refund/exchange process and cause delays .... and that won't make you happy! We want you happy!

You are responsible for return shipping -- unless the item is defective, arrived damaged or we made an error.  In that case we will provide you a return shipping label.

You are responsible for properly packaging the item so it is not damaged in return shipment.

If you are receiving a refund for an item, any costs you originally paid for shipping are non-refundable, unless the refund is due to our error.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary, and can be as long as 3 - 4 weeks if it must come from one of our global partners.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We can't guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
